Sudah lama tak menulis

Oh my! I have not updated this blog for ages. I have been busy with mostly about work. I know it is boring to talk about work especially when one is demanded to do things and it becomes a lot more strenuous when the things that we have to do is new. I have been assigned to a think-tank group within this company (a Telco), where we need to find new ways of aggregating revenues. Well it is hard, damn hard. I have to wear many caps as it involves hundred of vertical services and areas that I need to know.

On the other hand, this is also cool. I get to know various areas within a Telco and its operations. I get to meet new people also. And when we carry the mandate of the top management, people tend to respond quickly and sometimes I could smell fear. It is so funny when I have to remind them, "Well, let’s not have this fear thing going on. Let’s work together". I can easily have access to things these days. But I hate to use "Oh the CEO wants us to do this and that" I hate that. I know some people use that. But I am totally against that. As if you do not have your own credibility.

Moving on to a lighter note – about Jimmy; my cat. I noticed something. He is undergoing a phase of hatred now. He got into a fight with a stray cat the other day resulting in a few bites on his front leg. It was badly infected and I had to send him to the vet. The vet decided to keep him for a few days, which I totally agreed. When I left him, he was unconscious. When I picked him up, it was a payback time. He peed in my car to begin with and he has been giving me silence treatment and strange looks every time I want to get close to him. Even until today, he is giving me such treatment but I do notice something – he is getting healthier, his fur is nice and clean etc. Oh well, it cost me a lot to send him to the vet anyway, he’d better be healthy by now.

I have also been trying to be a good friend to many friends from Cambridge. I have been keeping in touch with a number. Dennis got a job in Hong Kong. He is so looking forward and said he would love to stop by in Kuala Lumpur enroute to Hong Kong. But he is flying with Air France that travels direct from Paris to Hong Kong. I am happy for him. He has been aspiring to end up in Asia and he finally realises his dream. Best wishes to you Dennis. I also spoke to Pierto (who is deferring his enrolment at Cambridge), Ebe (as I write this, he is on the way to Cambridge for a bop). Guys, I will be in touch. Stay in touch as well.
