The 5-week holiday has officially ended

+ My anak-anak buah (Awish and Nurul) who really added the FUN factor to my holiday. I will soon get two more anak buah's (Nov and Feb). It only means that next Raya shall be more meriah... Insya'Allah

What are the key take-away highlights of the holiday? I asked myself as I stretched my back in the plane to London today. Yes, I did that. I wanted to reflect on things. It has been, yet again, another hectic holiday - shifting between kampung in Kuala Pilah and KL - trying to meet with as many friends as possible.

[At this juncture, I got a text from Tony (Maynooth) saying that he is in London. He just missed his flight back to Dublin. I was ecstatic so that I have a friend to kill the hours. I was later disappointed as he is at Gatwick while I am at Heathrow. We will try to say quick 'Hi' back at Dublin Airport]

+ Akim - my cousin's son. He is so adorable. He did not make a fuss to who ever that approached him, or embraced him

I am just plain tired now. I am not too certain as a result of the 13-hr plane ride or the whole holiday in general. Some parts of my body is building resistance against the idea of going to the office tomorrow. But, my boss has called me on Fri, asking me to come in as there is a 'change' in the current project. Change is never popular. But let's see. I will cross the bridge once I come to it. But I do pray, whatever happens, it will not alter all the things planned for the rest of the year.

Back to the holiday - I would not be able to summarise that in a couple of para's but I am sure, I am content with the experience, knowing that I managed to do the stuff I wanted to do really. So that is awesome. But this time around, coming back to this side of the pond, it feels a bit strange. I will keep the reason to myself. It never feels the same anymore. Only time will heal. On the other hand, I am looking forward to meet the friends I have left for more than a month.

I will update this blog a bit more later on. Now, I am back blogging - the therapy, for I did not have the time nor the access to update for 5 weeks. After all, the weather is getting gloomier by day and I can start hybernating and concentrate on the blog :)
