Kenapa la aku tak kena bagi choice KLM ni dari dulu, baru aku perasan it is better. I am tired of flying Lufthansa dan BA (yg kini dah digantikan dengan BMI).
Setiap kali aku travel sah sah aku jadi magnet kepada orang2 tak semenggah. Paling aku tak larat kalau duduk dekat kids/babies. With much respect, sitting in the plane for hours and disturbed by over-excited kids atau bayi2 menangis, would just aggrevate kemarahan aku kerana all I want to do is to get there, do my work and get out.
+ Inilah makcik yang nak diceritakan dalam entry ni
Nak jadikan cerita, aku duduk sebelah makcik ni. Dia asal dari Ethiopia, aku tanya banyak kali dok la dia cerita pasal Canada. "I live there", asyik aje cakap macam tu. Aku dah agak dia ni kes berangan. So tak apa lah. Aku tanya lagik (tak tau aku kenapa aku chatty sangat hari tu, kalau tak aku selalu la kan carik gaduh aje dalam flight), aku tanya "Well, why are you flying to Addis Ababa?" She said "Hmmm for holiday", aku terus terbenam dalam seat aku. Mana ada orang ke Addis Ababa utk holiday. Sakit ke apa makcik tu. Last dia ngaku dia asal sana, born sana and now in Canada. Ye la mana aku tak pitam, dalam pada tu kan, dia sangat la jac-kun kat dalam tu, siap nak suruh aku ambik gambar semua kan. Aku ikutkan aje.
Tapi paling aku kelakar, tak dpt aku capture conversation dengan dia. Masa safety demonstration on the screen tu kan, ada la instruction kata something "Bla bla bla... take off... screen..." Nak tau, lepas tu makcik tu, kedua belah tangan dia menggenggam erat screen kecil depan kerusi duduk tu, terus di goyang2nya as if she wanted to tanggalkan benda tu. I asked "What are you doing?", she said "No, the instruction says take this screen off!" Aku memang nak terjun tingkap. Lepas tu it went on to say "emergency landing... lights on the floor... on.." She asked me "No, it is not on. Where is the light?" Haha :)
+ Video ni aku ambik kali kedua, tatkala lepas makcitk tu buat statement dia comparekan Addis Ababa dengan bandaraya lain. Uh tak nak kalah makcik ni.
Finally, masa nak turuh, aku turun Khartoum, dia nak turun gak. Nak tengok Khartoum katanya. Tapi aku kata, it was clearly instructed that you must remain in the plane to get a set of new passengers on board in Khartoum. Dia tak puas hati. I said - Tanya la stewardes tu ye. Aku pun berlalu. Eh, towards the end aku tanya, "What's your name?" Upon which, she responded "Lem Lem...". ;) Wish you well Lem Lem, apparently she told me some other things about her life. She is taking care of a 25-year old son who is suffering from manic depression, and she'is back in Ethiopia after 30 tahun tak balik ke sana. All the best Lem Lem, surely you did lessen the pain of travelling to Khartoum...
